The instigator behind the brainchild that is the Big Bads and the only female in the group, Emma started performing on stage from the age of three in her Mum's dance school, the Vivienne Lee School of Dance.

At age ten, she was singing regularly at local venues in her home town of Heathcote and, eventually, made her way to Bendigo, entering into competitions and winning accolades for her performances.

In 2011, she joined forces with local blues band, Trouble in Mind, after being spotted singing with her mother at the Million Paws Walk in town and became their lead singer.

After a solid two years, the band parted ways and Emma further extended her solo career, as well as entering into the acoustic duo, Pure Black, with her brother, Jimmy. Venues extended to Melbourne, interstate and even overseas as popularity began to grow.

An actress, voice over artist and model in her own right, as well as dabbling in instrumentation such as violin, drums, piano and alto saxophone, all of Emma's work has been involved in the arts. Being on stage is where she feels the most at home.

Emma wanted to create a band of seasoned professionals, packed with versatility, passion and a whole lot of soul. And so, she set out to find her team and boy, did she find them.
